Refund policy
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.
Eligibility
To be eligible, items must be:
- Unworn, unused, and unwashed
- In original condition with tags attached
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, email hello@water-the-plant.com with:
- Order number
- Reason for return
Returns must be approved before shipping. Items sent back without approval will not be accepted.
Exchanges & Store Credit
We strongly encourage exchanges or store credit.
- Faster processing
- No risk of missing out on stock
Refunds
Refunds are accepted but:
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Refunds are processed after inspection and approval.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect
- We are not responsible for lost return parcels without tracking
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Sale / discounted items
- Gift cards
- Custom / made-to-order items (POD)
- Personal care products
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos for verification
We will prioritise replacements or full resolution at no cost.
Abuse Protection (Quiet but Powerful)
We reserve the right to:
- Reject returns that show signs of wear
- Limit returns from accounts with excessive return activity
- Refuse service in cases of abuse
EU Customers
For orders shipped to the EU:
- You may cancel or return within 14 days, no reason required
- Standard return conditions still apply
Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: up to 10 business days after approval
